Equifind have teamed up with one of our great investment clients, to recruit an accounts payable & receivables manager to join their business for the next 6 months.
We are looking for a proven transactional candidate, who is diligent, has an eye for detail and has experience in forging strong relationships.

Key deliverables for this accounts payable/receivable manager position include:
* Manage the full cycle of accounts payable & accounts receivable queries from vendors, building strong relationships with key suppliers and handling both external and internal queries
* Ensure invoices are directed to the appropriate budget holders/approvers and invoices not approved are followed up in a timely manner to ensure payment term compliance
* Working with other team members across the business to resolve issues preventing the processing and payment of invoices
* Perform supplier statement reconciliation on a regular basis
* Work to monthly deadlines and set procedures, supporting finance colleagues with month/year end reporting when requested and necessary
* Support on weekly bank reconciliations and supporting on posting all cash‑entry transactions
* Proactively communicate issues and concerns around accounts payable to management team to ensure accurate and timely payment processing
* Review and monitor supplier information, opening supplier accounts
* Generate monthly statements upon request
* Manage debt reports and reconcile debtor’s ledgers ensuring client queries are logged in a timely fashion
* Provide support on month-end accruals, analysis and investigation
* Complete other month end and year-end accounting duties as requested by senior management
* Ad hoc projects as and when requested by senior management
The Business
The business is in the payments space and has grown considerably over the past 5 years. You will be involved in a very dynamic business that will provide you with an exciting project to be a part of.
With offices all over the world you will be joining an international business that is at the forefront of its sector. The finance team has over 15 in total, so you will interact with many daily.
You will join a growing medium sized finance team, where you will report directly into the financial controller and be tasked with managing all the daily transactional functions, in addition to building robust controls and enhancing the framework.
The role is hybrid, and you will be expected to be in the office four days per week, to help forge a collaborative working environment.
Background and experience
* Strong accounts’ payable and receivables background with a minimum of 6 plus years’ experience working in a similar finance function
* A background in fintech or financial services would be advantageous
* Experience of Netsuite is a MUST
* Understanding of GAAP and Vat regulations
* Experience of audits
* Be a self-starter
This role will be paying in the region of £300-£350 per day, depending on your industry experience.
This role is to interview are over the next week with a view to starting straight after. One weeks’ notice maximum.
