Job Title: Account Specialist - Eyecare

Location: London

Contract: 6 months

Job Description

SRG is seeking an account specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company to expand and develop the London Territory. The role involves being the primary contact for key stakeholders and executing the infield brand strategy. Develop customer relationships and maximize opportunities through strong cross-functional account plans.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performance

* Deliver expected volume and sales growth for the territory in line with goals.
* Act in accordance with company values and behaviors.

Customer Focus

* Develop and implement customer engagement strategies.
* Organize stakeholder meetings, training, and medical education sessions.
* Identify and maintain relationships with disease state external experts and advocates.

Team Player

* Set SMART pre-call objectives aligned with territory strategy and team goals.
* Share best practices to enhance business success.
* Communicate effectively and adapt style based on insights.
* Gather insights and understand market dynamics.

Raise the Bar

* Develop in-depth knowledge of disease, products, market, and competition.
* Adhere to industry and company compliance standards.
* Proactively develop competencies according to the framework.
* Understand the multi-stakeholder environment deeply.

Territory Management

* Analyze and report sales performance regularly for data-driven decisions.
* Develop growth plans for current and future opportunities.
* Create an integrated account management plan with cross-functional partners.
* Identify opportunities and overcome barriers innovatively.
* Respond to business opportunities and threats proactively.

Experience and Qualifications

* Experience as a secondary care account manager.
* Industry sales experience in ophthalmology preferred.
* Knowledge of industry and local market conditions.
* ABPI qualification.
* Understanding of customer and disease area requirements.
* Knowledge of policies, protocols, and political environment affecting accounts.
* Action planning and budget management skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
* Fast learner with adaptability.
* Leadership qualities to handle challenges.
* Motivational and influencing skills.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and risk.
* Professional, accountable, energetic, and collaborative.
