Buyer | Residential & Commercial Construction | High Wycombe | Permanent I'm working with an established main contractor who are looking to strengthen their procurement team following the planned relocation of a long-serving Buyer. This is a key hire within the business. They already have a more junior Buyer in place and are looking for someone with enough experience to provide guidance and support whilst taking ownership of procurement activities across multiple projects. The Role Procurement of materials, plant and subcontract packages across residential and commercial projects • Obtaining and analysing supplier quotations • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors • Working closely with commercial and operational teams to support project delivery • Assisting with supply chain management and procurement strategy • Supporting and mentoring a junior Buyer • Office-based in High Wycombe with some flexibility to work from home What they're looking for Buyer or Senior Buyer experience within a construction environment • Main contractor experience preferred • Residential and/or commercial project exposure • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills • Organised, commercially aware and proactive • Comfortable working within a collaborative, long-serving team The Business Established ...
