A global law firm in London is seeking a junior lawyer (NQ–3 PQE) to join its Employee Incentives team. The team advises a diverse client base, including early-stage and high-growth companies, venture capital and private equity investors, and listed entities, with a particular emphasis on the technology and innovation sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising on the design and implementation of equity and cash-based incentive arrangements.
* Drafting and implementing HMRC tax-advantaged plans, including EMI and CSOPs.
* Supporting on the incentives aspects of corporate transactions, including VC/PE investments, IPOs, takeovers, and reorganisations.
* Advising on post-investment incentive structures and governance-compliant executive remuneration for listed companies.
Candidate Profile:
* UK-qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 0–3 years’ post-qualification experience.
* Strong interest in employee incentives and equity compensation.
* Experience in transactional support and/or tax-advantaged share plans is desirable but not essential.
* Commercially minded, with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
Salary for this role will start from £160,000 and rise to c.£190,000 (depending on experience).
