Job Description – Baker's Assistant
Location: Roll Boys Production Kitchen, London
Reports to: Lead Baker / Kitchen Manager
About the Role
We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Baker's Assistants to join the Roll Boys production team. This role is hands-on in the kitchen, supporting our bakers with the preparation, rolling, and assembly of our signature cinnamon rolls. You'll play a key part in making sure production runs smoothly, trays are organised, and the kitchen remains clean and tidy at all times.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in rolling, shaping, and assembling cinnamon rolls to brand standards.
* Organise and prepare trays for baking, freezing, or proofing.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen workspace throughout shifts.
* Support the bakers with daily production schedules and tasks.
* Follow all food hygiene, allergen, and safety procedures.
* Assist with stock rotation, ingredient prep, and storage as needed.
* Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet production targets.

Requirements
* Previous kitchen or bakery experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
* Must be comfortable with physical work, including standing for long periods and some lifting.
* Flexibility with working hours, including early mornings or late finishes during busy production periods.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
