We are now looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager with a strong background in residential developments or housebuilding infrastructure to join our growing team in the Yorkshire & Humberside region. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with civil engineering expertise, ideally gained on housing schemes or major housebuilder projects, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of key projects.

Responsibilities
* Managing civil engineering projects from inception through to completion
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Overseeing groundworks, infrastructure, and external works packages on housing developments
* Coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain smooth project delivery
* Leading teams effectively while ensuring health, safety, and compliance standards are upheld
What we’re looking for
* Relevant university degree (preferable but not essential)
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with a civil engineering company or a major house builder
* Groundworks experience is essential
* A proven track record of managing infrastructure works on housing projects (roads, sewers, groundworks, external works)
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Proficient IT skills, particularly with Excel
* Sound commercial acumen, with the ability to manage high volumes of work to tight, client-driven deadlines
