Post: Care Assistant – Nights – Bupa Ardenlea Grove Care Home, Solihull B91 2AB
Salary: £12.75 – £13.75 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 22–44 hours per week (8:00pm – 8:00am). Must be flexible to work Monday–Sunday including alternate weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour with care, and document and report any changes in accordance with required legislation.
* Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
