Purpose of the role: Working in the HR team the People Support Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department by ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This position is essential in maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment and onboarding, coordinating HR processes, and supporting a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about helping employees and supporting company culture. Your role will involve dealing with the HR administration and processes to provide support to the head office functions, our other offices across the country as well as our depots throughout the UK. This position is an active role as you will be undertaking the role of a People Support Coordinator to support the service delivered at all times. Key Responsibilities: The role will cover a broad range of HR activities and processes: Fulfil the role of People Support Coordinator ensuring that service standards are adhered to Dealing with the HR inbox and directing queries to the relevant people Answering emails and telephone calls and advising on basic HR issues Processing Change of Contracts and assisting with onboarding documentation Updating Cascade - HR Management System and other systems Liaising with Payroll/Training/IT to ensure new starters and leaver information is updated promptly Complete incoming references as required Applying of new employee references and chasing General administration support around the department Dealing with information of a confidential nature Skills and Qualifications: Essential: Proven experience in an HR Administration, or similar, role. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of HR processes and best practices. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Desirable: CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle sensitive or complex HR issues. Familiarity with data protection regulations such as GDPR. Personal Attributes: A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
