The Early Child Development pathway is a county-wide (covering East, North and South Devon) multidisciplinary team which includes Clinical Psychologists, Paediatricians, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Early Years Practitioners working with complex early years children and their families. You will be joining a strong, enthusiastic and supportive group of professionals who will be your peers, your phone a friend network and your inspiring colleagues. The team provides holistic consideration of children and their families and MDT working at it's core.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work collaboratively with the Early Child Development Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) across the whole county. The role will require excellent leadership and communication skills to work with the team and wider system to ensure children are able to access the right help at the right time.
As this is a county post the base will be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant.

Children and Family Health Devon is a system-wide service that delivers an integrated, coordinated support model which wraps around the child, young person and family. It builds on our strong relationships across education, health, social care and voluntary sector services in Devon, and, most importantly, it has been developed and refined in partnership with children, young people and their families/carers.

To provide day to day operational management of the provision of care and treatment within a clinical pathway. To line manage a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians working within the pathway. To provide specialist clinical interventions and advice as required.
To provide leadership to the clinical team ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the service. The post holder will manage effective operational delivery of the service in collaboration with senior clinicians, clinical leads and other managers.
