We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our Food & Beverage Team at the exclusive Culloden Estate & Spa.
Under the leadership of our Events Operations Manager, Michael Campbell, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality. We want to help you to develop your skills and offer an extensive range of learning and development opportunities.
Candidates will be fully flexible to support the variety of events offered to our guests, such as weddings, conferences, gala dinners and more. Hours will vary to cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening functions.
The rate of pay for these casual positions ranges from £9 to £12.25 per hour depending on your age. This is expected to rise in April 2026.

About the role
To serve and assist guests attending a wide variety of events in the Hotel, and support other areas when required such as the bar and restaurant.
To provide the highest standard of service to guests, ensuring all guest needs and expectations are met.
To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and to be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
To set up function and meeting rooms in accordance with guest requirements and Hastings standards.
To ensure that function rooms and guest areas are maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect.
To ensure that any issues are dealt with courteously and in an efficient manner, or escalated to the Manager on Duty when required.
Any other duties as required by management.
