About the Role
Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive nursery in the Wirral who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education who enjoys supporting children’s development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care, helping children to develop socially, emotionally, and academically through structured activities and play‑based learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
* Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families
* Ensure the nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
