Main duties
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on engineering services as required and in line with skills set
2. Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing/heating systems and fixtures (incl.)as directed
3. Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls
4. Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
5. Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets
6. Install, repair and maintain water heaters and conditioners
7. Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim
8. Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
9. Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration.
10. Procure materials and equipment to carry out works.
11. Complete worksheets / PDA for works undertaken representative.
12. To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time, including but not limited to purchase card receipts, timesheets and mileage returns
13. Able to diagnose and repair simple and complex issues on various building systems.
· Ability to produce permit to work/risk assessments as required
· Identify and action any faults/remedial works inconjunction with the Helpdesk
· Use handheld technology effectively to carry out all tasks
· Assist other team members when required or as directed from Service Delivery Manager
· Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales.

Person Specification
14. Appropriately Qualified Certification in Plumbing/Heating from a recognized and accredited post-secondary institution – Same as mech C&G
15. Experience in the building services or maintenance industry as a recognised trade technician
16. Ability to undertake small mechanical tasks
17. Good demonstrable track record in a similar role
18. Ability to work on own volition, produce reports and data for the Helpdesk as required.
19. Strong customer care focus & high levels of communication skills
20. Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge
21. Full and Clean driving Licence
22. Able to work at heights
23. Committed, reliable and flexible
24. Able to work as part of a Team and to work on their own
