NES Fircroft is recruiting an Order Management Specialist on behalf of our client based in Didsbury, Manchester. This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential for extensions. The role offers Mon-Fri, 36hrs per week, with hybrid working.

Job Description
We are seeking an Order Management Specialist to support the team with end-to-end order processing, documentation, and data management. This role provides an opportunity to learn about logistics within a global organization. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring customer service and supply performance through process adherence and system settings
* Processing orders, creating deliveries, updating master data, customer profiles, and price agreements in SAP
* Communicating proactively with market and supply contacts to resolve issues promptly
* Developing skills in forecast acquisition, process improvement, and logistics expertise
* Sharing information effectively to benefit EAME Logistics and Order Management
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree or equivalent experience in Business or Supply Chain
* Proven experience in order management or a similar commercial role, preferably in chemicals or pharmaceuticals
* Knowledge of Sales and Marketing processes, including product lifecycle management
* Proficiency in SAP SD/MM modules (O2C/D&C processes)
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
* Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Skills
* Understanding of Supply Chain & Order Management processes in EAME
* Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and trade compliance
* Experience with export business and foreign trade
* Customer service and process documentation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adaptable to multicultural environments
* Initiative, organization, teamwork, and cost control expertise
* Experience with commodities trading, finance processes, letters of credit, and cross-region order execution
