Our client, a global professional services company, is seeking an Investigations Lead for a 7-8 month contract role.
Responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with senior leadership to assess and manage legal risks associated with investigations.
* Lead investigative teams to address reported allegations of misconduct.
* Manage notification, documentation, and reporting processes related to investigations.
* Oversee resources to handle complex allegations, including defining scope, conducting interviews, and compiling reports.
* Direct the investigation process to ensure timely and effective resolution, developing trend analysis and reporting mechanisms.
* Make strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group.
* Implement global investigation strategies in line with directives from the Global Director of Corporate Investigations.
* Provide legal advice on risk management and remedial actions to senior management.
* Coordinate with Compliance Program leads and liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
* Train and support investigative personnel, staying updated on legal standards and developments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in conducting and supervising investigations, including:
* Financial fraud and Code of Business Ethics investigations
* Regulatory and governmental investigations
* Drafting legal reports and advising on compliance risks
* Experience with litigation related to investigations
