A day in the life of a Hotel Maintenance Assistant
You will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained and in good working order. This role involves responding to maintenance requests, performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring the hotel's facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests and staff.
This role is vital in providing guests with a first-class, enjoyable, and comfortable stay.
What do we need from you?
* Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other hotel equipment
* Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues
* Attention to detail to identify potential maintenance issues early
* Good time management skills to prioritize hotel projects
* Basic technical skills with computer systems, maintenance management software, and online scheduling tools
