We have a permanent, part-time position available for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Wokingham Hospital, 41 Barkham Road.
Role Details
1. Salary: From £24,504 (pro rata, depending on experience)
2. Working hours: 25 hours per week
3. Working pattern: Monday–Friday, 10:00–15:00
4. Driving licence: Not required
5. DBS: Will be completed before start date
6. Training: Provided as needed
Key Responsibilities
This role will support the delivery of fabric and maintenance tasks within NHS Property Services premises. Duties include:
Carrying out general maintenance and fabric tasks
Completing customer‑billable works, including:
7. Basic carpentry
8. Painting and decorating
9. General repair work
10. Supporting specialist colleagues (electricians, plumbers, etc.) where required
11. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
Where You’ll Be
This is a site-based role at Wokingham Hospital. There is no requirement for travel, on-call duties, or use of a company van.
