The school is looking to take on a Design Technology Teacher on a 1-year fixed term contract, starting from 1 September 2026, working 4 days per week across the full KS3 and KS4 curriculum. Expertise is delivering GCSE Food Technology is essential for this role. A teacher who could offer an additional subject outside of Design and Technology, would be considered for a full-time contract, otherwise this role will be 0.8 FTE.
To be considered for this role, you will:
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge in Design and Technology, including Food Technology
Hold QTS and have a minimum 2 years’ teaching experience
Foster positive relationships with your students, setting and maintaining high expectations
Set and maintain high standards for yourself and your students
Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and leadership
Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing
Hold UK Right to Work
