Overview
SGK is a global packaging and brand experience company. We deliver packaging solutions and brand experiences that help brands speak louder, scale faster and grow stronger. This role is for a Senior Project Coordinator on the Kenvue team and can be worked remotely. The role represents SGK to ensure first-class service, professionalism and alignment with client culture, delivering high-quality products and efficient solutions.
Good knowledge of print in an FMCG environment is essential.
Responsibilities
* Project Management: Gather, manage and coordinate new and updated graphics & packaging projects for the client’s brand portfolio.
* Coordinate the pack change process for all projects, including packaging artwork, amendments, repro, proofs, and all SGK services.
* Manage and maintain project and job status trackers; communicate key milestones and critical path timelines to stakeholders.
* Escalate risks to critical path timelines as appropriate.
* Briefing & Approval Process: Collate accurate briefs and submit to production centre; collate amends and brief to production centre.
* Lead pre-artwork meetings with support from the technical manager; collate and distribute minutes and actions.
* Advise on print and technical feasibility with support from the SGK Print Technical Team and Operational Teams.
* Coordinate press attendance where applicable with the SGK Print Technical Team.
* Ensure client requirements are understood and delivered with high levels of service; support brand consistency and print feasibility with the SGK teams.
* Obtain approval of jobs from relevant client departments before releasing fully approved files.
Relationship Management
* Build, maintain and develop effective relationships across the client and print supply chain, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering first-class service.
* Understand and reflect the client’s culture in behaviour and ways of working.
* Maintain on-site relationships with the client’s marketing team and supporting departments with support from the designated Account Director.
* Represent SGK professionally at all levels of management within the client, including project briefings and non-conformance investigations.
* Identify areas for continuous improvement within client and SGK processes, proposing robust actions with Account Management and Operations Teams.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Excellent organizational skills and a logical approach.
* Strong project management skills; able to stay calm under pressure.
* Solid knowledge of FMCG print processes and packaging materials; understanding designers’ constraints.
* Attention to detail; experienced in using Microsoft Office; some experience/knowledge of Adobe products.
* Experience/Knowledge of working with FMCG brands.
