Our Patient Administration Support Officers Team play a vital role in supporting our Clinical Staff, Management and Senior Teams who are based over two sites. This role is varied, interesting and highly valued. If you feel you have the qualities and skills to make a difference to our patients care we want to hear from you!
In this post you will join a team who deal with work flow such as prescriptions, registrations, amendments and deductions, recall for long term conditions and childhood immunisations.
Main duties of the job
The main focus of the role is to ensure that our busy workflow is kept up to date!
You will work as part of a team of eight, four patient services administration support officers and four clinical assistants.
Having a working knowledge of prescriptions within Emis Web is essential.

Our team comprises of Partners, salaried GPs, Nurses, HCAs, Registrar's, F2 GP and a PA who look after over 27000 patients, across two sites many of which have been with us across generations. You will be part of over 30 non clinical staff who look after various aspects of the highly achieving practices.
We have ARRS staff as part of our wider team who work closely with us and spend time on site in our staff rooms catching up over food which is always on the go! We have a passion for a good cuppa be that tea or coffee and never refuse cake!

Job Title: Patient Administration Support Officer
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure that workflow for the PASO Team is kept up to date and output is delivered on time.
All staff assist the Partnership in providing a high quality service.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1 To have a working knowledge of all aspects of the systems necessary to the job.
2 To ensure the security policy is adhered to.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
1 Take reasonable care of themselves and others at work.
2 Co-operate with the practice as far as is necessary to enable them to carry out their legal duty.
