Care Home Administrator – Riverdale Care Home, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 7LL.
Riverdale Care Home are seeking an experienced and dedicated Administrator to join the team and play a pivotal role within the home. Location: Riverdale Care Home, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 7LL. Salary: £14.71 per hour. Schedule/Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week.
As a Care Home Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for residents, their family members and representatives, the home management team, and colleagues in addition to HR, payroll and the finance teams. You will work with a range of computer systems, ensuring all information is captured in an accurate and compliant manner.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for residents, their families and representatives, the home management, and colleagues, including HR, payroll and finance teams.
* Manage and process information accurately across computer systems to ensure compliance.
* Support rostering and payroll systems (if applicable to the role) and assist with contract-related processes in a regulated setting.
Qualifications
* Previous experience within a similar role is desirable.
* Able to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to perform under pressure and prioritise workload.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Experience of operating rostering and payroll systems.
* General understanding of contracts and their importance in a regulated setting.
* Knowledge of HR processes (this is a significant advantage).
* A clear, enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
