Youth and Community Worker
Based at The Hut - Preston Road, 20 Hours per week, £12.27-£12.71 per hour depending upon experience
Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in your community? Child Dynamix is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth and Community Worker to join the team.
This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) based at our Youth facility, The Hut on Preston Road with flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekend, supporting and delivering engaging activities and meaningful support for children, young people, and families in our community.
Requirements and Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver a range of sessions and activities to support the informal learning, development and interests of young people aged between 10 and 19 years old.
* Support and encourage the voice and influence of young people in local and city wide projects
* Ensure that all data is collated appropriately and timely, allowing for effective monitoring to take place.
* Contribute to the upkeep of the youth facility
* Be a team player, flexible, approachable and able to work under pressure.
