Job Title: Regional Head
Location: Shropshire, Telford
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours, 52 weeks)
Salary: £58,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on qualifications & experience)
Overview:
A Learning Centre are seeking a Regional Head to lead and inspire the SEN education provision across Telford and the West Midlands Region.
Key Responsibilities
Provide confident leadership in chairing governance and leadership meetings.
Actively embed and promote our 2030 vision, purpose and values within teams and communities.
Provide strong and supportive line management to the Teaching, Learning and Assessment Coordinator, SENDCo and Change Leader.
Uphold the Headteacher Standards.
Inspire staff and young people, motivating them to achieve their potential.
Demonstrate the confidence to make difficult decisions.
Requirements:
GCSE Grade 4 or C in Math's and English
QTS
Degree of equivalent in higher education
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) (or be willling to undergo)
IOSH qualification in management
Level 2 Child Protection Training
Level 3 Child Protection Training
Minimum of 5 years leadership experience working with young people in education.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding practice.
