Job Description:
My client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (ideally 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm generates significant opportunities from regional and national landowners/property developers. To enable growth, they require an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development (Option and/or Promotion agreements) and an established reputation in this field, ideally with connections to agencies.
This role offers a great opportunity to develop a practice/business in Strategic Land Development across the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Manage own caseload and meet deadlines;
* Assist Partners with complex and high-value matters;
* Maintain good client relationships through effective management and service delivery;
* Scope and price new instructions appropriately, ensuring good financial management;
* Provide clients with accurate, up-to-date legal advice tailored to their circumstances, offering value for money;
* Contribute to the team’s business plan and deliver assigned activities;
* Develop relationships within the firm;
* Support business development and marketing efforts, including attending conferences;
* Manage direct reports as the team expands.
Person Specification:
* Proven technical experience in Strategic Land Development;
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, able to work under pressure individually and in a team;
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues;
* Focus on client satisfaction, delivering timely and cost-effective services;
* Strong communication skills at all levels;
* Commercially minded with aspirations to grow with the firm.
