You will be responsible for the overall portfolio growth strategy. You will need to work with manufacturing plants and third-party suppliers for current and future market needs.
What You’ll Do
* Ensure strong link of Product Management team with Sales. Participate in visits to customers with Sales Managers and Sales Representatives.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors and substitute product offerings.
* Monitor market developments and identify business opportunities and threats for an assigned product portfolio (e.g., channels, regulations, new products, substitute materials, technology, costs).
* Regularly analyze and report on customer satisfaction and needs (quality, performance, availability, delivery).
* In cooperation with sales, ensure up-to-date knowledge of competitor moves and actions and respond quickly if required.
* Monitor the profitability of all products across the portfolio.
* Assess the adequacy and consistency of the existing product range and marketing mix within the portfolio, propose improvements, and manage the improvement process.
* Contribute to the Strategic Review for the Business Unit and develop action plans to support this and deliver objectives.
* Propose budget targets for the assigned portfolio.
* Design and submit marketing plans for each product range and oversee their implementation.
* Collaborate with the UK marketing team and Communication manager to propose product promotion strategies and tools for channels, specifiers, and installers.
What You’ll Bring
* Product management experience, ideally within the construction industry.
* An understanding of the importance of sales and customer relationships.
* Skilled in commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
* The ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
