Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor with 2 years Housekeeping or quality control experience to join Team Rockliffe
The Role
The main responsibilities of the role will be (but not limited to):
* To assist the Housekeeping management with the daily operations of the Housekeeping department and deputising in their absence
* To ensure that all of the Housekeeping team deliver the highest level of cleanliness and customer service to guests and members alike and constantly work to a 5 star standard.
* Work closely with other departments to coordinate Guest arrivals and departures
* Excellent communication skills both with guests and colleagues at all levels whilst maintaining a level of professionalism at all times.
* Assist with the daily Housekeeping operations by distributing Room lists to team members and informing team members of their allocated daily tasks.
* Carry out and ensure that regular on-the-job training is taking place to agreed standards and identify areas of poor performance and provide coaching / mentoring where needed to ensure 5-star service.
* Be the first point of contact for any Guest complaints are ensure these are dealt with quickly and professionally.
