We are scaling quickly and investing heavily in AI and automation, and we need a high-performing, results-driven Sales Closer to turn qualified opportunities into signed contracts and revenue.
Role summary
We’re hiring an experienced, full-time Sales Closer with deep energy sector knowledge who excels at the final stage of the sales process. You will take warm leads and booked appointments (generated by our lead generation teams) and close them into customers. This is a high-volume, target-driven role where you will run consultative discovery and closing calls, handle objections, negotiate deals, and consistently convert opportunities in the energy and utilities brokerage space.
Key responsibilities
Sales Closing & Deal Conversion
* Run high-converting discovery, proposal, and closing calls with business decision-makers.
* Present tailored energy & utilities savings proposals and clearly articulate value.
* Expertly handle objections, negotiate commercial terms, and secure signed contracts / Letters of Authority.
Pipeline & CRM Management
* Accurately track and update all opportunities in Zoho CRM.
* Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide clear forecasting and visibility to leadership.
Collaboration & Process
* Work closely with outbound AI, lead generation, operations, and finance teams for smooth handoffs and maximum deal velocity.
* Feed insights back on lead quality, common objections, and process improvements.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
* Consistently achieve and exceed personal revenue and conversion targets.
* Stay sharp on energy market trends, supplier offerings, and our product suite.
Must-have experience & skills
* Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in energy, utilities, or energy brokerage sales, with a proven track record of closing B2B deals.
* Consistent history of hitting or exceeding sales targets (revenue and/or conversion rate).
* Excellent phone/video-based communication, objection handling, and closing skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to sell cost-saving solutions to business owners and finance teams.
* Resilience, competitiveness, and a positive “always be closing” mindset.
* Experience using a CRM system (Zoho experience is advantageous).
Desirable
* Experience selling cost-saving or procurement solutions to UK businesses.
* Familiarity with consultative or solution-selling methodologies.
* Experience working in a fast-scaling, target-driven sales environment with AI-powered lead flow.
KPIs / success measures (first 3–6 months)
* Consistently achieve or exceed personal revenue targets and appointment-to-close conversion rates.
* Maintain high CRM accuracy and pipeline hygiene.
* Demonstrate improving close rates and average deal value over time.
* Positive feedback from customers and internal teams on professionalism and effectiveness.
* Active contribution to refining sales processes and sharing best practices.
