A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join a growing team within a leading organisation in the FMCG sector. If you excel at building strong customer relationships, driving commercial growth and delivering exceptional service, this role offers genuine scope to make an impact.

The Role.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of existing B2B clients, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring they receive outstanding levels of service. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll nurture long-term relationships, maximise retention, and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell solutions. The role carries clear commercial responsibility, including meeting financial targets, delivering accurate forecasting, and proactively developing accounts.

Key Accountabilities.

1. Manage and grow a portfolio of established customers
2. Deliver agreed renewal and revenue targets
3. Identify and convert new business and consulting opportunities
4. Provide accurate sales projections and pipeline management
5. Present services via online demos and in-person meetings
6. Offer regular customer support and ensure ongoing engagement
7. Share customer feedback to support product and service improvements
8. Build strong collaborative relationships across internal teams
9. Maintain high standards of CRM usage and account documentation

People Profile.

10. Demonstrable account management or customer success skills
11. Proven commercial track record with strong financial acumen
12. Excellent communication, influencing and presentation abilities
13. Strong planning skills with exceptional attention to detail
14. FMCG industry experience and strong B2B sales background
15. Ability to build new relationships and nurture existing ones
16. Comfortable working in a high-performance, customer-focused environment
17. Adaptability, curiosity and a growth mindset
18. Understanding of how insights are used by retailers and manufacturers
