About the Role
Were seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy Finance team. Youll manage a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant
* Process purchase invoices through to payment
* Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received
* Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams
* Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment runs
* Maintain supplier records and set up new accounts
* Monitor outstanding purchase orders and aged creditors
* Support the Finance team with ad-hoc tasks
Skills & Experience needed from the Accounts Assistant
* Previous purchase ledger experience essential
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Good IT skills (InspHire desirable)
* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
