The Role Programming, setting and operating Hitachi Seiki CNC turning machines Writing, editing and proving ISO programs at the machine Producing precision components to tight tolerances Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, CAD data and GD&T Tool selection, setting offsets, speeds and feeds Working with a variety of materials in a precision manufacturing environment Carrying out in-process and final inspection using micrometers, verniers and gauges Completing production and quality documentation accurately Performing routine machine checks, basic maintenance and fault reporting Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving activities Working closely with Engineering and Quality departments Maintaining high standards of health & safety Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter / Operator Strong hands-on experience with H...
