As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupils and young people we care for, helping to ensure they get the very best from their education. Each individual has so much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learning journeys.
You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, gaining hands-on experience and some supervision. You will also take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting their development as individuals and engaging with the world.
Supporting pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is important and rewarding work. You will benefit from the support of our experienced teams. As you help our pupils achieve progress, you will enjoy having a positive impact on their lives.
Who we are looking for
We welcome candidates with GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and some experience with SEN and working within a school.
You should be adaptable and ready to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, according to individual needs. Taking a caring approach, you may run classroom activities, lead outdoor experiences, or supervise pupils exploring outside.
