About The Role
As a key player in our kitchen, you will report directly to the Senior Kitchen Manager and help lead a dynamic team of up to 40 talented individuals. Your mission? To make our guests smile! You’ll ensure that every operational decision keeps our guests at the heart of it all.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource Planning: Recruit and select the best team members to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.
* Continuous Improvement: Monitor guest experiences and develop action plans to enhance service quality.
* Financial Performance: Manage food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Health & Safety: Uphold food hygiene standards and ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
* Team Development: Inspire and train your team to embody Butlin’s unique way of working.
In this role, you’ll have the chance to lead and develop a team in our main buffet restaurant, serving guests who have booked a half-board dining package. Variety is the spice of life, and we can’t wait for you to bring your flair to our kitchen!
About You
We’re looking for individuals with experience in a similar role, or those eager to step up in their kitchen career. Here’s what we need from you:

* Food Safety Knowledge: You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Cost Management: Experience in managing margins and controlling costs while ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Working Conditions
Enjoy a balanced work-life with typical hours of five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week. You’ll be part of a bonus scheme and experience a unique kitchen environment without split shifts, usually finishing by 8 PM.
