NLC7: £30, - £33, Per Year (Pro Rata) (Plus Additional Non-Core Hours Payments when Applicable)
Working as part of the wider CLD team, you will be required to support the core functions of Youth Work. As a Support Worker you will support the delivery of community-based youth work including awards and accreditation, approved learning courses, outdoor learning and detached youth work. An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have an awareness of key developments within CLD. In addition to the Council mandatory training, all successful candidates will participate in relevant training.
Successful candidates will have good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
You must have relevant qualifications at SCQF level 5 and above and previous experience of community-based work with young people and / or young adults.
The CLD Support Worker will be line managed through the CLD Youth Work team.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.
