Family Systemic Psychotherapist OR Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist
We are looking to recruit an innovative and proactive Child Psychotherapist or Family Systemic Psychotherapist to our growing under 5's provision.
The postholder will be part of the newly formed 0-5 BEH CAMHS, undertaking complex specialist assessments, formulating, managing risk, providing specialist interventions, teaching, and consultation to partner agencies. Part of your role will involve delivering support via LB Enfield's Family Hubs programme, working in the community to support vulnerable children under 2 years old and their families, and offering consultation to professionals such as social workers.
Main duties of the job
To provide BEH 0-5 CAMHS with a high-quality, evidence-based Systemic or Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic service to children, their families, carers, and professional networks, including assessment and therapy. To offer specialist advice and consultation regarding diagnoses and treatment to CAMHS colleagues and external agencies, working both autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. To provide clinical supervision to team members as required. The post holder will contribute to future service developments and the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care pathways.

You will deliver support via LB Enfield's Family Hubs, working in the community with children under 2 and their families, and providing consultation to professionals such as social workers.
Person Specification
Educational
* Doctoral-level training in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (or equivalent for those trained prior to the introduction of training doctorates), with membership to the Association of Child Psychotherapists OR a Master's degree in Family Systemic Psychotherapy with appropriate registration as a Family Systemic Psychotherapist with AFT/UKC.
Skills
* Advanced skills in using a variety of Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, and Systemic theories and interventions, applying them appropriately to client needs and settings.
* Advanced skills in complex psychological assessment, intervention, and management, often requiring sustained concentration.
* Ability to communicate complex, sensitive information effectively to clients, families, carers, and colleagues within and outside the NHS.
* Advanced skills in professional supervision, including live supervision of multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Skills in providing consultation to professional and non-professional groups.
* Knowledge of research methodology relevant to Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, or Systemic practice.
* Advanced skills in offering live supervision and professional supervision to meet ACP requirements.
Experience
* Significant experience as a qualified Family Systemic or Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, including within the designated specialty (0-5 CAMHS).
* Experience in specialist Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic/Systemic assessment, formulation, and intervention with individuals and families.
* Experience exercising full clinical responsibility within multidisciplinary care plans.
* Experience applying Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic psychotherapy or Family Systemic Psychotherapy across different cultural contexts.
* Experience working with various childhood disorders at both acute and chronic stages.
* Experience working with children and families of all ages.
* Experience in service development.
