We’re currently working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools who are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support pupils and help raise attainment across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
The Role
As an HLTA, you’ll work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning activities, provide targeted support to small groups and individual pupils, and occasionally lead full class sessions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups
* Supporting the class teacher with classroom management and learning activities
* Leading interventions for literacy and numeracy
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
* Assisting with planning and assessment where appropriate

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with:
* HLTA status or equivalent experience
* Proven experience working within primary education
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed
* A flexible and proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
