Senior Infrastructure Engineer | City of London, 4x days onsite
Have the chance to own infrastructure end-to-end inside a small, high-performing hedge fund.
We’re working with a quantitative investment firm going through a period of transformation, modernising its estate, increasing automation, and building out more scalable systems to support trading.
This isn’t a siloed role.
You’ll be part of a lean team where you’re expected to get involved across the stack, from core infrastructure through to automation, security, and day-to-day problem solving when needed.
The environment is Azure-led with a strong Microsoft foundation, but evolving. There’s a clear shift towards infrastructure as code, automation, and more DevOps-style ways of working, with scope to move into CI/CD, pipelines, and eventually Kubernetes / containerised environments over time.
They care more about your approach to IaC and automation than specific tools, whether that’s Terraform, Bicep, or similar.
You’ll have real autonomy over projects, ownership of core systems, and the opportunity to shape how the platform evolves as new initiatives come online.
