This company is in the final stages of developing an automated manufacturing line for personalised medicines. A number of key scientific discoveries over the last decade have opened the door to life changing personalised therapies and now large-scale commercialisation is around the corner. This is a genuinely unique opportunity to help turn this into a reality.
You will lead the strategy, organisation and execution of supply across the company. From low-volume specialist equipment supplied by companies around the world, to everyday consumables. You will be responsible for defining how they source, contract, manage and scale just about everything. Naturally this will all be done in close collaboration with their engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
Requirements:
* You will have previously developed supply chains from scratch for manufacturing companies.
* You will have previously worked within medical, pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environments.
* You will be a people leader, having previously led, and ideally, built from scratch supply chain teams.
* Able to work full-time in Cambridge. No hybrid or remote working is available.
You will be joining a highly experienced team of scientists and engineers dedicated to bringing the promise of personalised medicine to everyone. They are located in a modern and well-equipped premises just outside Cambridge and are looking to expand onto a near-by site.
