Level 3 Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 2 - Full time – Permanent Hurst Green Primary School, Halesowen B62 9NZ Start as soon as possible after appointment Shortlisting 19th January 2026 Provisional interviews 26th January 2026 Hours 29.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Salary £18,171.73 - £19,806.63, actual salary per annum. We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant who brings initiative, reliability and a strong team spirit. You will have experience of working in KS2, particularly you will have a 'can-do' attitude and approach the role with a positive mindset. The role includes supporting high-quality classroom practice, running interventions for children with SEND, guiding pupils through SATs preparation and helping children grow in confidence. Strong English and maths matter for this role, along with steady behaviour support and clear communication. You will work closely with teachers, lead small groups, adapt tasks when needed and help build consistent routines that make learning feel secure. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
