Job Details
* Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
* Location: Oakfield House School, Salwick PR4 0YH
* Salary: £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata)
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
* Start: September 2025
About The Role
We are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants to join our team. You will support teachers in teaching pupils according to their needs, maximizing achievement, and development.
This role is ideal for those starting or continuing a career in Education, motivated to inspire learning in pupils with varied and complex needs. You will work with pupils individually and in small groups, preparing classrooms and materials, and building positive relationships.
Previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable, but excellent support skills, motivation, resilience, and personal qualities are equally important. Candidates from customer-facing industries looking for meaningful roles are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications include GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English. The successful candidate will be calm, engaging, resilient, team-oriented, and motivated to help pupils reach their potential.
About Us
Oakfield House School is a specialist primary school for autistic pupils and those with Autism/Learning or Complex Communication needs. The school is set in a historic building on eight acres of parkland, catering to 45 pupils aged 4-12.
Located in Salwick near Preston, the school is within commuting distance from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, and surrounding areas. Outcomes First Group has over 16 years of experience in autism care and education and is committed to innovative approaches and measurable outcomes.

Additional Information
