Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is working in partnership with several secondary schools across Halifax who are seeking dedicated Science Teachers for September 2025. Multiple roles are available, including full-time and part-time positions, with both long-term and permanent options.
The Roles:
* Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may also be available)
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to inspire curiosity and critical thinking
* Contribute to assessment, tracking and reporting of pupil progress
* Support whole-school initiatives to raise achievement and attainment in Science
* Work collaboratively with experienced Science departments
We Are Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or general)
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A commitment to student progress and inclusive learning
* ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
