Salary: £25,183 – £28,358 per year
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who has excellent customer care and communication skills. The Housing Assistant undertakes a wide range of clerical duties including word processing, filing and photocopying and also supports Housing Officers and provides advice to tenants and customers, making a direct impact on the local community and our service users.
You will be required to demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise your workload, respond to changing priorities and contribute effectively to team goals and projects, as well as demonstrating the necessary skills to use all relevant IT systems and software applications, in particular a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Due to the post being in a front‑line service, the successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to the principles of customer care along with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The role offers opportunities to gain skills and experience in a front‑line and diverse housing environment and also provides a pathway for progression within Housing Services.
