An exciting Analyst role now exists within the CT Borders Policing team based near Gatwick.
In this role, you will provide high-quality tactical and strategic analysis to inform, advise, and assist decision-makers and senior operational police officers in the prevention, targeting, disruption, and detection of crime. Furthermore, you will use analytical techniques to create products that inform relevant strategic and tactical planning, adhering to the standards defined within the National Intelligence Model (NIM) and Authorised Professional Practice (APP).
Through the application of structured analytical techniques (SATs) and the use of analytical vocabulary, you will assess the activities of individuals, groups, and themes to establish the dimensions of the threat posed. You will provide efficient and effective services to support managerial, operational, and investigative decision-making. Your analysis will assist in prioritisation, focusing intelligence gathering, and guiding investigative, enforcement, and prevention activities. This includes making recommendations to drive business activity at both tactical and strategic levels.
