The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, trimming, and portioning meat products to meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all incoming raw material meets the required specification
* Record and report any raw material issues, raising them duringthe weekly supplier group call
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
* Provide training and guidance to Trimmers to achieve and maintain specification
* Follow food safety regulations and company procedures
* Work collaboratively with production staff to meet daily targets
* Use a knife in a safe manner at all times in line with company procedures.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in meat cutting or trimming preferred
* Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
* Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods
* Commitment to health and safety standards
