Remanufacturing Technician

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Remanufacturing Technician to join our Remanufacturing team in Ollerton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working with a wide range of automotive components.
The Role
As a Remanufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the remanufacture and testing of a variety of automotive electrical and mechanical products, including but not limited to:
1. Starter Motors
2. Alternators
3. Turbochargers
4. Fan Motors
5. Wiper Motors
6. Control Boxes
7. Bespoke mechanical assemblies
You will play a key role in ensuring products meet both company and customer quality standards, including Ministry of Defence (MoD) requirements where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
8. Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, test, and carry out remedial work on automotive electrical and mechanical products
9. Adhere strictly to MoD processes, including Strip & Survey Reports, component traceability, and approved Work Instructions
10. Evaluate parts availability and commercial viability before commencing work
11. Follow existing Work Instructions and assist in creating new ones where required
12. Embed quality procedures into all work activities
13. Complete tasks within agreed timescales
14. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
15. Ensure all work meets company, customer, and quality standards
16. Support ad-hoc requests from management as required
About You
You will be a reliable team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. You will ideally have:
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
18. Proven experience working effectively as part of a team
19. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
20. Knowledge of QHSE legislation
21. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
22. Understanding of MoD requirements
23. Experience creating or contributing to technical work instructions
