Your new roleAs an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems forplex, high-value products. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to projects from initial concept through to production and certification.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and developing electrical systems, wiring schematics, and harnesses
2. Producing detailed technical documentation and engineering drawings
3. Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacture (DFM)
4. Collaborating with mechanical design, manufacturing, and quality teams
5. Conducting testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
6. Ensuringpliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
7. Supporting continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within the design team
What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
8. A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
9. Experience in electrical design within a manufacturing or engineering environment
10. Proficiency in electrical CAD or schematic design tools
11. Strong knowledge of electrical systems,ponents, and integration
12. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
13. Strongmunication skills and the ability to work within cross-functional teams
Desirable:
14. Experience within highly regulated industries
15. Knowledge of harness design and routing
16. Familiarity with industry standards andpliance requirements
17. Experience supporting prototyping, testing, and certification processes
