Prasco UK Ltd is one of the UK's leading automotive crash repair parts supplier. Due to expansion we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to work in our busy warehouse in Thorne. Experience is preferred but not essential. You must be keen to learn and work well as a team.
Day shift hours are Monday to Friday 08; You will receive 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, this increases on your length of service.
Main Duties
· Picking items and processing them ready for dispatch.
· Notify the manager/supervisor of any shortages or errors.
· Ensure all parts are correctly labelled prior to dispatching stock.
· Complete paperwork and/or hand held device accurately when completing a change of location or stock count.
· Carry out all other duties commensurate to the role and level of responsibility.
· Be aware of all risk assessments and work within any restrictions set.
· Always use PPE (personal protective equipment) responsibly and keep in good repair.
· Keep the warehouse area clean and tidy at all times, keeping fire exits and walkways clear.
· Only use equipment that you are fully trained to operate.
Skills and Qualifications
· A good level of maths and English.
· Be confident to use IT equipment including a PC and hand held scanners
· The ability to work alone using own initiative or as part of a team.
· Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
