Flooring Contracts Manager – 6-Month Contract
Berry Recruitment are currently looking for a Flooring Contracts Manager on behalf of our client based in the Totton / Southampton area. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, ideal for someone with flooring or construction project experience.
This role will involve overseeing and managing flooring projects from start to finish. Full training will be provided; however, previous industry experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all stages of flooring contracts, from site surveys and project planning through to final inspection
* Prepare estimates and cost new enquiries
* Coordinate labour and materials, including managing teams of fitters and scheduling works
* Source materials such as carpet, vinyl, and LVT
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, attending meetings and maintaining strong relationships
* Monitor installation quality and ensure work meets required standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in flooring installation, contracts management, or a similar role (commercial or residential)
* Strong technical knowledge of flooring systems, subfloor preparation, and installation methods
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and project timelines
What’s on Offer
