IT Asset Manager (Contract) Rate: £90-£100 per hour IR35: Inside IR35 Location: Reading (Hybrid working available) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to take ownership of the full lifecycle management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and configuration items. This role is responsible for defining and embedding a robust IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategy, ensuring assets are managed efficiently, compliantly, and in line with organisational standards. The role reports into the Head of Service Management and includes responsibility for leading a small ITAM team. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Head of Service Management to define and deliver a comprehensive IT Asset Management strategy and roadmap. Design, implement, and embed ITAM processes, practices, governance, and tooling across the organisation. Establish and maintain a complete and accurate inventory of all IT assets. Oversee hardware, software, and configuration lifecycle activities including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal. Ensure compliance with organisational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Lead periodic asset audits to ensure accuracy, traceability, and vendor compliance.
