Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kingston Upon Hull for a Trainee Drug and Alcohol Practitioner. The Trainee Drug and Alcohol Practitioner will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals affected by drug and alcohol issues. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, developing care plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and facilitating group sessions. The role also involves liaising with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive support for clients. Qualifications Ability to conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans Skills in delivering therapeutic interventions and facilitating group sessions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and collaborating with other professionals Understanding of addiction and its effects on individuals and their families Strong organizational and time management skills A sincere commitment to empowering individuals towards positive change Relevant experience in the health or social care sector is a plus, however as a Trainee role, this is not essential. A valid driver's license and/or the ability to travel to different locations as needed Willingness to complete a relevant qualification. 12 month contract
