Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high:quality, challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum (Years 3:6).

Prepare pupils for statutory assessments (SATs) while maintaining a focus on their emotional wellbeing.

Create an inclusive learning environment that caters to a wide range of abilities and needs.
*
Implement effective classroom management strategies that foster mutual respect and a love for learning.
*
Use data:driven insights to identify learning gaps and provide targeted interventions.
*
Lead and inspire classroom support staff to ensure every child receives the help they need.
*
Engage in the wider life of the school, including local history projects and extra:curricular clubs.
Essential Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*
Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
*
Strong subject knowledge across core and foundation subjects.
*
Ability to use Assessment for Learning to drive student outcomes.
*
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
