SAP Support Analyst
Here at Saint Gobain Digital, we are looking for several SAP Support Analysts to join our Digital & IT team in East Leake, Loughborough. These are permanent roles working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have a hybrid working policy.
The role involves providing specialist system support to customers using SAP/ERP applications, including advice, system guidance, support services, proactive/reactive maintenance, and fault resolution. The SAP Support Analyst will also work as a Business Analyst to translate customer and business needs into technical requirements and manage the delivery of developments through change management and project processes.
What will I be doing:
1. Act as one of four SAP Subject Matter Experts for the UK Digital & IT team on technical and business process changes impacting live SAP systems.
2. Follow change management processes to oversee the scoping and implementation of new or changed services, ensuring communication in advance of changes.
3. Perform proactive monitoring for supported systems, investigating anomalies to minimize disruption.
4. Review and approve documentation for new and upgraded systems covering design, development, testing, implementation, and post-live support.
5. Own and resolve SAP-specific issues and incidents within SLAs, maintaining effective communication with customers and suppliers.
What do I need to be successful:
1. Specialist SAP system knowledge across key modules such as Supply Chain Management, Maintenance & Management, Finance, and Production Planning.
2. Experience supporting enterprise SAP systems across key modules.
3. Understanding of application architecture and system interfacing principles.
4. ITIL Foundation qualification or experience in the ITIL Service lifecycle.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Business Analyst or consultative skills, with experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
